Audit Commission ordered to disclose staff who are Common Purpose graduates

It is understood that the Information Commissioner has ruled against the Audit Commission to prevent them from concealing names of their staff who are Common Purpose Trained graduates. Members of the public had exposed that Local Authority financial irregularities were being covered up following collusion between Local Authorities and Audit Commission Common Purpose staff. Following the ruling local Audit Commission offices will now have to declare their staff who are Common purpose trained to prevent a conflict of interest when auditing public bodies which also contain Common Purpose graduates. More details will be published on this, including the source documents, as soon as we receive them.

Members of the Public should ensure that they ask for this disclosure in writing wherever possible to ensure that Common Purpose's hidden activities are fully exposed. 20 August 2009.
