N Ireland, Northumbria, Staffordshire, Thames Valley, Warwickshire and West Midlands Police spend £219,000 on CP

Freedom of Information requests show that N Ireland, Northumbria, Staffordshire, Thames Valley, Warwickshire and West Midlands Police have spent a massive £219,360 of taxpayers money on Common Purpose 'leadership training'. Hard up police forces can spend on a political charity to train officers in 'who pulls EU levers of power'. At least one police force cannot fully account for the amount spent on CP, as is the case with other public bodies in UK. Where is probity when police officers meet under Chatham House rules of secrecy, and sit as CP Advisory Board members to select and reject other members of the public for this 'elitest' training? Did you know that your taxes where being spent on politics and not policing your community?
